Queen of Peace Monastery
The Queen of Peace Monastery in British Columbia’s Squamish Valley is nestled into the mountainside facing the amazing Tantalus Mountain Range. The new 23,000 square foot monastery includes a chapel, infirmary, kitchen, library, refectory, cloister-walk and accommodations.
During construction, Innotech worked closely with a|k|a architecture + design and Murphy Construction to supply windows and doors for 91 openings. The Queen of Peace features charcoal black exterior with white interior Innotech Tilt and Turn and Fixed Window combinations, Terrace Swing Doors and Entry Doors.
In March 2013, the project won a prestigious interior design award from the Canadian Wood Council. Congrats to a|k|a architecture + design and the entire building team.
