Whistler Comfort

Nestled in the trees in the world-famous resort town of Whistler, this west coast contemporary home blends style with comfort. Natural wood elements on the exterior and the interior of the home include tongue and groove soffits,  large exposed beams, hardwood floors, stained wood cabinets on the kitchen island, solid wood interior doors, and built-in wood shelving.

To complement these wood elements, the homeowners selected our Mountain Pine Wood Foil finish on the exterior and interior of the triple glazed windows and doors. The result is a home that not only delivers in style, but also in comfort. Featuring with our durable Hybrid Framing System, the  triple glazed windows and doors offer superior energy performance delivering year-round comfort with minimal maintenance.

Mountain Pine Wood Foil

Our favourite space in the home is the inviting dining room. With comfortable seating for eight, the large solid wood dining table is surrounded by many windows. The unique combination of Tilt + Turn Windows and Picture Windows offers plentiful natural ventilation, natural light and viewing area. The transoms (the horizontal bars that divide the windows) are well positioned at a height that won’t disrupt the impressive mountain views while seated or standing – an important design consideration when designing your windows and doors.

The home also features our dual action Pleated Shade window and door coverings for afternoon sun protection, privacy and style.
