Green Building Enthusiasts Gather at Langley Passive House
Every month, Passive House Canada hosts a social for green building enthusiasts in and around the city of Vancouver. For the month of August, the event was held at one of our projects in Langley, the first Passive House social to take place in the Fraser Valley! Over 65 guests joined us for an afternoon of learning and networking.
The afternoon included a self-guided tour of the under construction 2-storey ,5,230 sq.ft. single-family home and an in-depth presentation about the home’s design challenges, construction techniques and building materials. A full size wall mock-up was also on display, allowing guests to see the step-by-step installation of the airtight, watertight and durable wall assembly.
