Q&A: King Edward Villa – Design & Build of Net-Zero and LEED Platinum Mid-Rise Project in Vancouver

The King Edward Villa in Vancouver is a 77-unit mid-rise concrete-over-wood frame building. Built to meet the City of Vancouver’s aggressive Greenest City Action Plan goals, the King Edward Villa achieves superior energy efficiency to help reduce carbon emissions. Using  the right combination of sustainable building technologies and materials, the King Edward Villa is a net-zero and LEED Platinum registered project.

Paul Warwick from Performance Construction will discuss the King Edward Villa’s overall vision, materials and technologies used. Seminar participants will then have an opportunity to ask questions about the project to gain further insights into what is involved in building one of Vancouver’s most sustainable mid-rise projects.
