Innovation Conference Attracts Large Crowd

On September 21st, we hosted our first Innovation Conference. The complimentary educational event at our new head office and manufacturing facility in Langley, BC featured five educational seminars by industry experts. Over 100 building professionals from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Washington, Oregon and Minnesota attended the full-day conference.

The Innovation Conference not only celebrated the grand opening of our new headquarters, but also allowed us to give back to our clients and industry.  The complimentary event provided an exciting opportunity for our guests and staff to learn from industry experts. The AIBC-accredited and BC Housing CPD-approved seminars discussed high-performance design and construction. The speakers included Brian Lenz, Quality Assurance Manager at Walsh Construction Co., Lorne Ricketts, Associate & Building Science Engineer at RDH Building Science, Paul Warwick, Senior Project Manager at Performance Construction, Graham Finch, Principal & Building Science Research Specialist at RDH Building Science, Terry Bergen, Managing Principal at Read Jones Christoffersen, and Scott Fleenor, Principal at Terratek Energy Solutions. In addition to learning seminars, guests were invited to tour our new manufacturing facilities. When we moved, new equipment was purchased to further improve quality and efficiency.
