Innotech is Turning Off the Lights!
Innotech is supporting the annual Earth Hour event. Earth Hour 2010 encourages people to
show their commitment to energy conservation by turning off their lights for one hour
from 8:30 - 9:30 PM on March 27. We've taken the pledge and we invite you to do the same!

Innotech selected for the CMHC’s US Platinum export program
Innotech has been selected as one of 14 Canadian companies to participate in the CMHC’s
(Canadian Mortgage Housing Corporation) US Platinum export program for 2010 and 2011.
The CMHC US Platinum program is designed to help Canadian companies successfully enter
the US residential construction industry.

Innotech Terrace Swing Doors selected for the CMHC EQuilibrium™ Green Dream Home in Kamloops, BC.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) EQuilibrium™ Sustainable Housing Demonstration Initiative
is a national program that designs, builds, and demonstrates sustainable homes throughout Canada.
Innotech Terrace Swing Doors were selected for the CMHC EQuilibrium™ Green Dream Home in Kamloops because of their
exceptional thermal insulation and energy performance. Two sets of double Terrace Swing Doors with sidelight windows
will be featured in the home, which is set to open to the public once construction is completed in the spring of 2010.

Visit Innotech at the grand opening of Light House’s Sustainability Showcase at the Green Building Centre of
Excellence in Vancouver on November 7, 2009.
Innotech is proud to exhibit at the new Light House Sustainability Showcase entitled the Green Building Centre of Excellence.
The Centre features two levels of emerging green technologies and sustainable building products. Learn all about sustainable
building solutions, includes themes such as earth, sun & energy, community, water, zero waste, building envelop, and air & health.
The Centre will be opened from November 7, 2009 to November 2010. Innotech is on the second floor in the

Innotech windows and doors exceed ENERGY STAR® requirements for all North American zones
The ENERGY STAR® label is one easy way to identify energy efficient windows and doors. In Canada, there are four
ENERGY STAR climate zones: A, B, C and D. Standard Innotech windows and doors meet the requirements for Zone C —
which qualifies them for Zones A, B and C. Triple glazed Innotech products are qualified for Zone D: all of Canada,
including the far North.
As Canadian ENERGY STAR requirements are more stringent than those in the US, Innotech windows and doors also exceed
the requirements of all US ENERGY STAR zones as well.
Why is this important? Because the higher the ENERGY STAR rating (zones C and D), the more energy efficient the
windows and doors. For homeowners, this translate to a better insulated home with no drafts which results in
greater savings on your energy bills – in both summer and winter. Other benefits to zone C and D rated
windows and doors include superior air, water and sound resistance for a more comfortable home.

Innotech windows and doors fit for cold Manitoba winters
The Strand is a commercial and residential waterfront condominium located in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the shores of the Red River. Designed and developed by Friesen Tokar Architects, leaders in sustainable design, The Strand was recognized by Manitoba Hydro for its excellent energy efficiency and awarded a significant rebate.
“I wanted The Strand to have tilt and turn style windows,” said Rudy Friesen, architect and developer for The Strand. “But I also wanted windows that would be suitable for Manitoba’s very cold and windy winters. After meeting with the Innotech team, there was no question that their Tilt + Turn product had the energy and durability performance features we required for The Strand.”
