Innotech has new product listings on the Built Green Canada website based on our new 2010 ENERGY STAR® ratings.

Two years ago, Innotech joined Built Green Canada, an Alberta-based green building program originally created by the Canadian Home Builders Association. Built Green recognizes four levels of achievement: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Builders accumulate points from a checklist of green building options and must also achieve specified EnerGuide ratings for overall energy efficiency.

Built Green has an online catalog of products that meet their criteria for a green home, and Innotech has several new product listings:

+ Innotech Tilt + Turn / Picture Windows

+ Innotech Tilt + Turn and Terrace Swing Glass Doors

+ Innotech Tilt + Glide Sliding Glass Doors

The Built Green criteria are ENERGY STAR qualification for windows and sliding glass doors, and 15% recycled content for exterior doors. The Innotech product descriptions on the Built Green website describe the ENERGY STAR ratings and extent of recycled content for each product.

Originally created for Part 9 buildings, the program now labels multi-storey stacked townhome and high rise projects as well.
