The “Smaller, Greener House Design” is a 4-day design workshop intensive designed for people who are planning their own house or renovation project. The Monashee Institute has pulled together a group of skilled and passionate West Kootenay building professionals who will provide their own unique slant on building houses where beauty, cost and energy efficiency are in balance. The team of designers, contractors and builders have decades of combined experience. Their collective wisdom on ‘lessons learned’ might just save you thousands of dollars and dozens of hours spent wondering if you’re on the right track.
